
LE JOURNAL DE MONTREAL had 2 pages on the 2004 GIVE PEACE A CHANCE events
Quebecois artists including Boom Desjardins, Danny Bedard, Luce Dufault , Bruno Pelletier, Luck Merville ,Les Respectables and David Usher will record a version of GIVE PEACE A CHANCE this coming June 1st in the Queen Elizabeth Hotel Bed-In Suite here in Montreal. You might not recognise the names, but most of them are all huge stars here in Quebec and in France.
The Cd and video will be issued in July and the video will sent to heads of states around the world .
"If only George Bush would give it a listen", said Boom Desjardins, in a Journal de Montreal article.
Additionaly, visitors to a photo exhibit by Gerry Deiter will be able to buy signed prints of shots he took while spending the week with J&Y back in 69.
This GIVE PEACE A CHANCE campaign is presided by Justin Trudeau [ Pierre Elliot's son ] and profits from the sales of the photos will benefit AMNESTIE INTERNATIONALE.
Justin Trudeau will introduce a video message from Yoko.
The photo exhibit in the Queen Elizabeth Hotel Lobby runs from May 27 to June 2nd.
